Jennifer is a Tucson native, born and raised right here in the Old Pueblo. A fierce advocate for her clients, Jennifer is known to provide personalized and effective representation. She is empathetic and detail-oriented, paying close attention and recognizing that every situation is unique.
She attended the University of Arizona for undergraduate studies and later attended Phoenix School of Law, graduating cum laude. During her time in law school, Jennifer worked for the Arizona Court of Appeals as well as a local criminal defense and family law firm in Phoenix. After law school, she moved to Mohave County where she worked for the Legal Defender’s Office representing clients who found themselves in difficult situations with the law or with the department of child safety.
Licensed in both Arizona and Washington State, she took some time away from her home state and built a successful family law practice in Washington. After a few years in Washington, she chose to return to her roots and opened Desert View Law in Tucson. Her extensive experience in both criminal and family law matters across multiple states has helped her gain a deeper understanding of the complexity of the law and the practical effects on the lives of her clients. Jennifer is dedicated to ensuring her clients are heard and their concerns addressed while effectively advocating inside and outside the courtroom and drafting detailed and comprehensive estate planning documents.
Outside of the courtroom, Jennifer serves as International Vice Justice on the International Executive Board for Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International. She strives to advance Phi Alpha Delta’s core values of compassion, courage, diversity, innovation, integrity, professionalism, and service in each of her endeavors. She is a firm believer in the mission of service to the student, the school, the profession, and the community and has volunteered previously as the University of Arizona Pre-Law Alumni Advisor, District Justice for Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada, and as a national mock trial judge. She is an advocate in the autism community as well, frequently participating in community outreach and programs. As a true Tucson local, she grew up attending University of Arizona basketball, football and softball games and continues to cheer on her Wildcats with her family every chance she has.
